What pet sitting services do you offer in Athens?
At my home: dog daycare, overnight dog boarding, and small animal boarding. At yours: cat sitting, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I also offer dog walking and care for ongoing medical needs. We’ll discuss your pet’s routine before booking.
Which areas do you cover for pet sitting and dog walking?
I cover Kypseli, Gyzi, and Exarchia for home visits, cat and house sitting, and dog walking. Dogs and small animals are welcome at my home for daycare or boarding from across Athens.
Do you board cats at your home?
No. Cats are usually more comfortable in familiar surroundings. I offer drop-in visits or house sitting at your home in Kypseli, Gyzi, and Exarchia.
Can my dog stay at your home for daycare or overnight boarding?
Yes, if your dog is social and comfortable with Daphne, my 6 kg dog. They must be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea, tick, and worm treatments. We’ll discuss compatibility and routine before confirming.
How many dogs do you care for at one time?
One client household at a time for daycare or boarding. Dogs who already live together can stay together. Daphne, my dog, also lives here.
What is your home like for dogs and small animals?
My first-floor flat has elevator access and year-round carpeting for traction, especially for older dogs or sensitive joints. Daphne and Lolek, my elderly degu, live here. We’ll check suitability before boarding.
Can you board rabbits, rodents, or birds?
Yes, I board rabbits, rodents, and birds at my home. Tell me about their enclosure, diet, routine, and special needs so we can check that it’s a good fit.
What qualifications and animal care experience do you have?
I hold a BSc in Zoology from Swansea University and have six years of professional animal care experience. I worked as a veterinary nurse and assistant while building my pet sitting business, combining clinical and everyday care.
Can you care for a pet with a chronic illness or give medication?
Yes. I can support oral medication, injections, special diets, and health monitoring for chronic conditions. Share your pet’s needs and veterinary instructions before booking so we can agree on a care plan.
Will I receive updates while I’m away?
Yes, I send daily updates. You can choose photos or videos, notes on appetite, behaviour, and mood, plus medication or health logs when needed.
How much does pet sitting cost?
Quotes depend on the number of pets, care needs, booking length, and travel for visits or walks. Discounts may apply to regular bookings or extended stays. Contact me for a personalised quote.
